Fado crossover sensation Dulce Pontes will join acclaimed tenor Mario Frangoulis on stage at the Athens Concert Hall (megaron.gr) for two nights on May 9 and 10, from an original plan for a single show. Their program is dedicated to the ports of the Mediterranean, with ballads from their native Portugal and Greece, but also from Italy, Spain, Corsica and more.

Respected Greek tenor Mario Frangoulis is on tour this summer presenting a program of ballads from the likes of Lucio Dalla, Astor Piazzolla, Nino Rota, Nicola Piovani, Jose Maria Cano and Manos Hadjidakis, as well as contemporary Greek composers Lina Nikolakopoulou and Aris Davarakis. On Tuesday, July 24, he will be making a stop at the open-air Veakeio Theater in Piraeus.
