Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis met with a delegation from the US Congress and US Ambassador to Greece George Tsunis, in Athens, on Thursday.

Gerapetritis welcomed the delegation, headed by US Representative Mark Green, chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, at the Foreign Ministry. 

A new poll in Macedonia shows 48 per cent of respondents feel the country is moving in the wrong direction, a rise of 9 per cent rise since a poll was taken by the IRI last December.

Some 58 per cent said Macedonia was less stable than it was a year ago, a jump of 27 per cent since the last IRI poll.
