BELGRADE - Marko Jovanovic, a former captain of Serbian football club Partizan Belgrade, was named its caretaker head coach on Tuesday.

Jovanovic, 36, succeeds Savo Milosevic, who was dismissed on Monday after a little over two months at the helm of the first team.

At a meeting with representatives of local self-governments at Deputies' Club, the minister for EU integration emphasized that this is important for changing the investment and business environment in cities and municipalities.

GORNJI MILANOVAC - Partizan Belgrade defeated Javor Ivanjica 2-0 (1-0) in Gornji Milanovac on Wednesday to claim their 13th national cup title in club history.

Central defender Marko Jovanovic scored a header in the 35th minute after a corner kick, and young Dusan Vlahovic added a second goal for Partizan in the 96th minute from a counter attack.

Montenegro: Man accused of pimping assaults reporter

KOTOR -- A man accused of organizing a prostitution ring has physically assaulted a reporter for the Montenegrin daily Dan, in the presence of the police.

The incident happened on Friday in the town of Kotor, in front of a local court.
