Serbia men’s kayak four team finishes sixth in Olympic final
PARIS - The Serbia men's kayak four team finished sixth in the final of the Olympic K-4 500 m event in Paris on Thursday.
The Serbian quartet of Andjelo Dzombeta, Marko Novakovic, Marko Dragosavljevic and Vladimir Torubarov completed the race in 1:21.52.
Germany (1:19.80) claimed the gold medal, Australia (1:19.84) won the silver, while the bronze went to Spain (1:20.05).
Serbian kayakers win European medals, smash world record
Tomicevic and Zoric became Europe's champions in the K-2 100 race, setting a new world record of 3 minutes 4.940 seconds.

MOSCOW -- Serbia won three medals on the last day of the 2014 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships (WC) in Moscow, and a total of five during the competition.
The country's most successful athletes were Nebojša Grujić and Marko Novaković, who won the men’s K-2 200m event.
