This weekend in Greece, expect pleasant autumn weather with some clouds in the northwestern regions, but no rain in sight! Meteorologist Sakis Arnaoutoglou notes that while winds will be relatively strong in the central Aegean today, they’ll taper off in the afternoon.

The weekend will bring a fall-like weather pattern with chilly temperatures, strong northern winds, and a few showers. As we approach the October 28th long weekend, temperatures are expected to rise.

Summer conditions will persist until Sunday, with temperatures rising to unseasonably high levels, reaching – and in some areas exceeding – 32°C. For example, Sparta and Thebes recorded 32.6°C yesterday.

August will bid us farewell with instability according to the weather forecasts. As both Thodoros Kolydas and Klearchos Marousakis say in their posts, cold air masses coming from Ukraine, where they will be over our region via the Black Sea, will bring rain and thunderstorms until the end of the week.
