Do?an Publishing Group representative Mehmet Ali Yalç?nda? and the deputy chair of the Do?an Media Group's Publishing Principles Committee, Volkan Vural, have paid a visit to the office building of daily Yeni Akit, which was targeted in an armed attack early Feb. 11, to express their sorrow and show solidarity against terror.

Do?an Holding, a Turkish group of companies that also has media outlets, has condemned armed attacks targeting the offices of two newspapers, Yeni Akit and Yeni ?afak, in Istanbul early Feb. 11.

The Do?an Group has issued the following statement over recent claims made by Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirta? at his party's Istanbul provincial congress:

HDP co-chair Demirta?'s statements about the Do?an Group are speculative and do not reflect the truth. 

Mehmet Ali Yalç?nda? has been appointed to coordinate and manage the editorial policy of the Do?an Holding's media assets, the holding said in a statement on Dec. 21. 

Turkey's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DE?K) will make an official visit to Argentina in March 2016 accompanied by famous Turkish TV stars Halit Ergenç and Bergüzar Korel, who are very popular in Latin America.

Ergenç and Korel co-starred in the popular Turkish soap opera "Binbir Gece" (1001 Nights), screened under the title "Las Mil y Una Noches" in Argentina. 

An Ankara prosecutor has launched a probe against a number of businessmen, including the Honorary President of Do?an Holding, Ayd?n Do?an, over their alleged relations with a secret military group and economic benefits they received during the Feb. 28, 1997 era. 

Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu has gathered with leading figures of Turkey?s business world at a dinner on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Cüneyt Zapsu, the head of Cuneyd Zapsu Consultancy Inc., and Fettah Tamince, owner of the Rixos hotels chain, hosted the dinner in honor of Davuto?lu.
