New transport minister takes oath in parliament
Turkey's new Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu on March 31 took oath in the parliament.
His predecessor Mehmet Cahit Turhan was dismissed on March 25.
Karaismailoğlu, born in 1969, was the deputy minister of transport and infrastructure.
He graduated from Karadeniz Technical University's mechanical engineering department.

Probe launched into plane crash in Istanbul after three killed
Three people have died and 179 were injured when a plane skidded off the runway at an Istanbul airport, caught fire and split into three after landing in rough weather, with both the state and the airline company launching probes into the incident.
