Populism becomes more effective in Turkey and the world like "bad money firing good money." 

What I mean by "bad money" is the exaggerated demagogy, polarization, the passion for power, anger and partisanship, which we see in all populist currents. 

Turkish media mogul Ethem Sancak, known for his close ties to the government, has fired three high profile managers of his various media outlets.

Star Media Publishing Group head Mustafa Karaalioğlu, daily Star editor-in-chief Yusuf Ziya Cömert, and daily Akşam editor-in-chief Mehmet Ocaktan were all removed from their posts late on Nov. 24.
