Kosovo Seeks New Int'l Precedent With Dial Code Demand

BELGRADE - As Belgrade and Pristina resume talks to normalize their relations, the latter's request for its own telephone code present a problematic precedent for China and other countries across the world, Dusan Prorokovic, former state secretary in Serbia's Ministry for Kosovo and Metohija, told Sputnik Serbia on Tuesday.

SNS wins two-thirds of votes cast in Kosovo

The SNS party won 67.09 percent of the votes in the Serbian parliamentary elections in Kosovo, the party announced based on 100 percent of ballots processed.

SNS official Marko Djuric, who also heads the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, told reporters in Belgrade late on Monday that it was "a historic result for the SNS in Kosovo and Metohija."

New investigation urged in case of murder of 12 Serbs

On the 15 anniversary of the bus bombing in Kosovo that killed 12 Serbs, Marko Djuric said it was "impermissible" that the case has not had a court outcome.

The director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija noted that even 15 years after the grave crime, the perpetrators have not been found.

"Serbia in favor of dialogue, but one where it, too, gains"

There is no doubt everything should be solved through dialogue, but at a table where there is something for Serbia, too, says Marko Djuric.

This table should not be one "where obligations are issued to Serbia only," the director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija told state broadcaster RTS.
