Deputies Chamber approves request for MP Vreme criminal prosecution
The lower Deputies' Chamber at a plenary sitting on Monday passed a 153 to 110 vote to approve the request made by the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) to start the criminal prosecution of independent deputy Valerian Vreme, Chamber Secretary Ion Marcel Ciolacu announced.
The vote was secret, with Vreme being the only deputy to address the debates.

EIB to lend Greece over 1 bln euros this year

The European Investment Bank is expected to disburse loans of over 1 billion euros to Greece this year, confirming, according to EIB Vice President Mihai Tanasescu, that Greece constitutes a reliable client for the European Union.
