Locarno Film Festival opens
Switzerland's Locarno Film Festival opens tomorrow with Shah Rukh Khan, Jane Campion, Alfonso Cuaron and Irene Jacob set to be honored with special awards.
Founded in 1946, Locarno is one of the world's longest-running annual film festivals and focuses on auteur cinema.

Naked | Athens | June 7
Mike Leigh's 1993 drama exploring sexual obsession, "Naked," is being screened by the Athens Open Air Film Festival at Avyssinias Square on Friday, June 7, starting at 9.30 p.m. The film is part of a tribute to UK cinema, organized in cooperation with the British Council. Admission is free.

Radiohead sticks it to critics at Israel concert (VIDEO)
Last night, at Park HaYarkon in Tel Aviv, Israel, Radiohead played their longest concert in 11 years, the BBC reports. The show had been mired in controversy: In the preceding months, artists such as Roger Waters—supporters of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement (BDS) against Israel—publicly criticized the group.
'Boyhood' and Hawking biopic dominate BAFTA awards
The American coming-of-age tale "Boyhood", filmed over 12 years, won a BAFTA for best film on Sunday but the British awards ceremony was dominated by the Stephen Hawking biopic "The Theory of Everything".
