Bulgarian Trade Unions mark May 1 with a March, a Concert and a Blockade in Sofia
KNSB and Confederation of Labor "Podkrepa" will celebrate Labor Day and international workers' solidarity with a series of different events. Among them are a blockade of a key intersection, a procession and a concert in the capital. In this way, unions will send messages for higher incomes, safe and healthy working conditions, and a just energy transition.

Theatre and film actor Radko Polič – Rac dies
Ljubljana – Radko Polič – Rac, one of the finest Slovenian actors, has died aged 80, the Slovenian Association of Dramatic Artists (ZDUS) said on Thursday. Polič played in more than 100 theatre productions and as many films and radio plays to create some of the most memorable roles in Slovenian history.

Ljubljana – Actress Milena Zupančič, one of the biggest stars of Slovenian and before that Yugoslav cinema and theatre, is the recipient of this year’s Badjura Award for lifetime achievements in film.
Mladinska Knjiga gets three new supervisors
Ljubljana – The shareholders of publisher Mladinska Knjiga, 83% of which is owned by Slovenia’s bad bank, replaced three of five supervisors on Thursday. Changes were also made to the articles of association, making it harder to dismiss supervisors and to change the articles of association.

Virtual Reality Combined with Art in Gallery 2.0
Gallery 2.0 is a completely new type of a gallery. It is a combination of a cozy gallery, a coffee corner, a place for work, meetings and even lectures. On Saturday together with VR Express, they created an open-access Tilt Brush space painting panel so that more people could experience the possibilities of presenting art in a virtual environment.
