Supreme State Prosecutor Veselin Vuckovic sent a request for a ban to the Basic Court in Podgorica on Thursday after the newspaper published a series of articles attacking Calovic, including one accusing her of bestiality.

BELGRADE - Montenegro's Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic said on Tuesday the accusations from the Belgrade press that he intended to place the Serbian media under his control were not directed against him, but against Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, and Vucic responded that the Serbian government was stronger than those who wished to topple it.

EU to Probe Montenegrin Watchdog's Use of Grant
The EU Enlargement Commission on Monday said the EU delegation in Podgorica would monitor implementation of a grant given to the NGO MANS, following complaints by the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists, DPS.
"As a grant recipient, MANS is responsible for implementing the project in accordance with the applicable national law," spokesperson Peter Stano said.

Montenegrin Leader Firms up Ties to Ukraine
Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic will visit Ukraine next week to discuss diplomatic and economic cooperation between the two countries.
On the invitation of his counterpart, Ukraine’s Mikola Azar, Djukanovic will travel to Kiev on June 13 to hold talks with Ukraine’s new leaders.

Montenegro Watchdog Activists ‘Assaulted’ at Election Commission
The director of MANS, Vanja Calovic, along with activists Dejan Milovac and Vuk Maras, said they were assaulted on Tuesday by a municipal election commission officer to whom they were attempting to hand over complaints about alleged irregularities at the polls on Sunday.
