Former detainees of the Bosnian Serb-run wartime camps at Prijedor in north-west Bosnia have filed a joint complaint to the Serbian Electronic Media Regulatory Authority, REM, against Happy TV.

Serbia's Regulatory Authority of Electronic Media, REM, on Monday adopted guidelines which could prevent broadcasters from airing reality-TV programmes before 11pm.

Goran Karadzic, the president of REM, an independent body with the authority to set policy, said on Monday that the guidelines will be enforced after a period of public debate.

Vucicevic has denied claims that he would be appointed director of RTS, brushing off rumours that either he or veteran television editor Milomir Maric could be given the high-profile job.

"How could I possibly be director of RTS when I have never managed any TV station?" Vucicevic told BIRN.
