Hipper: New round of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue due on December 17

BRUSSELS - A new meeting of the chief negotiators of Belgrade and Pristina will be held in Brussels on December 17 to discuss a series of issues, including implementation of an agreement on the path to normalisation of relations, European Commission Spokesperson Anitta Hipper announced on Tuesday.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday important meetings in Brussels, Zurich and Berne were ahead of him over the next three days.

Speaking to reporters in Belgrade, Vucic said that, among other officials, he would meet with EU foreign policy and security chief Kaja Kallas and European Council President Antonio Costa in Brussels on Tuesday.

Stano: Mandate of each EU special representative is approved by member states

BRUSSELS - Outgoing European Commission Spokesperson Peter Stano said on Thursday the term of the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak ran until January and that he was unable to comment on "what will come afterwards" but that the mandate of each EU special representative was discussed and eventually approved by the EU member states.

Lajcak: Chief negotiators of Belgrade, Pristina to meet in December

BRUSSELS - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak has announced the next meeting of the two parties' chief negotiators within the framework of the Brussels dialogue would take place in December.

Lajcak made the announcement in a Facebook post recapping a "productive and insightful" two-week period during which he visited Geneva, Tirana, and Paris.
