Slobodan Vaskovic, one of the most influential bloggers and journalists from Bosnia's Serb-led entity, Republika Srpska, and a prominent critic of RS President Milorad Dodik, has said he has left Bosnia because his life was in danger.

BELGRADE - Branko Ruzic, chairman of the executive committee of the ruling Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), told Tanjug on Friday that he was questioned as a defense witness at the special department of the high court in Belgrade in connection with the shady dealings in the Galenika pharmaceutical company.

BELGRADE - A ninth suspect in the investigation into frauds at Serbian pharmaceutical company Galenika, Miroslav Milovanovic, employed with pharmaceutical wholesaler Velefarm, turned himself into the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime in Belgrade on Monday.

BELGRADE - Eight people got arrested Sunday on suspicion of being involved in several criminal offenses of abusing the position of responsible persons and causing losses of about EUR 75 million to Galenika, a pharmaceutical public enterprise, the Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) said in a statement.
