Serbian national freed in Libya
BELGRADE - Serbian national Miroslav Tomic, employed at German engineering group Ferrostaal, has been freed in Libya on Wednesday, the foreign ministry cited the Serbian Embassy in Tripoli as saying after having received the confirmation.

BELGRADE - Secretary General at the Serbian Foreign Ministry Veljko Odalovic said Wednesday that he believed that the information about the freeing of a Serbian national kidnapped in Libya was true, but it had not been confirmed officially yet.

BELGRADE - A Serbian national was kidnapped in Libya on Saturday, the Serbian Foreign Ministry told Tanjug on Tuesday.
The kidnapping of Miroslav Tomic (36) occurred at a site 120 km from the border with Egypt, the ministry said.
