Eşarj reaches 1 million recharges: Company

Leading the sector with 500,000 recharges last year, Eşarj has reached 1 million total recharges with the increase in electric vehicle usage, the company has said in a statement.

Founded in 2008, Eşarj, a subsidiary of Enerjisa Enerji, the first EV charging station provider in Türkiye, exceeded 1,000 charging stations nationwide, including 850 DC fast charging stations.

Eşarj to expand its charging stations network

Eşarj aims to include 495 fast-charging stations to its existing charging station network by investing 300 million Turkish Liras as part of its Fast-Charging Stations for EVs Program, the company has said in a statement.

Thanks to new investments, Eşarj will have the largest and fastest EV charging station network in Türkiye in terms of installed capacity, the statement added.

Solar energy plant to be built on Galatasaray stadium

Galatasaray sealed a deal with Turkish energy company Enerjisa on March 9 that will install a solar energy power plant on the roof of its football stadium that will produce electricity for the venue.

Galatasaray President Mustafa Cengiz, club officials and Enerjisa CEO Murat Pınar attended the signing ceremony at Istanbul's Turk Telekom Stadium.
