Istanbul's Başakşehir swept aside title contender Galatasaray 4-0 on April 10 to continue its pursuit of leader Beşiktaş in a match that was marked by veteran striker Emmanuel Adebayor's stunning hat trick.

Demba Ba hat-trick fires Beşiktaş past Feyenoord
A Demba Ba hat-trick sent BeÅiktaÅ into the Champions League playoff round at the expense of former winners Feyenoord on Aug. 6.
The Black Eagles, who finished third in the Turkish Super League last season,
only qualified in a knock-on effect because champions Fenerbahçe are

Beşiktaş plans to finish the job against Feyenoord

Beşiktaş wins at Feyenoord in Champions League bid
Goals from Mustafa Pektemek and Kerim Koyunlu edged BeÅiktaÅ past last seasonâs Dutch league runner-up Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, in the first leg game in Rotterdam on July 30.
Feyenoord scored a 95th-minute penalty but still succumbed 2-1 at home to BeÅiktaÅ, putting the Turkish outfit in charge of the tie.
