BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday evening a delegation of four government members - Deputy PM Aleksandar Vulin and Ministers Bratislav Gasic, Adriijana Mesarovic and Nenad Popovic - would be representing Serbia at the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia.

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister without portfolio Nenad Popovic laid a wreath at a memorial to the WWII liberators of Belgrade on Wednesday to commemorate May 15, 1945, the day when WWII military operations ended in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.

Poplovic laid the wreath as an envoy of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

Today, on his Instagram profile "avucic", Aleksandar Vui emotionally said goodbye to his first wife, who passed away suddenly two days ago.
"Thank you for bringing up our Milica to become a strong and unwavering girl today, that our Danilo is such a decent and brave guy, thank you for raising our children under the motto that the highest value is to be a good man," Vucic wrote.

Belgrade's Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera "Torlak" will officially start producing Russia's Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine on Serbian soil on Friday, June 4, the press service of Serbian Innovation and Technological Development Minister Nenad Popovic, who also chairs the parliamentary friendship group with Russia, told TASS on Wednesday.

The institute has approved the production of the Sputnik V vaccine against coronavirus in the future in this Serbian institute.

President Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday said Serbia will start producing its own Russian-designed Sputnik V vaccines in June. "Between June 5 and 10 we will have the first doses of the vaccine," he said after visiting the Torlak Institute in Belgrade, where production of the COVID vaccine started on Wednesday.

Russian Fund for Direct Investment and Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera, Torlak announced earlier today that an agreement was made on the production of the Sputnik V vaccine in Serbia.

After meeting the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said the two countries had agreed to start producing the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine in Serbia by October 15.

Minister in charge of innovation and technological development Nenad Popovic added that production could start in two or three months.
Popovic told Tanjug that the delegation, which includes representatives of the Ministry of Industry, the Direct Investment Fund and the Russian Drug Agency, was satisfied with what they saw in Torlak.

The hosts informed the President about everything the Center has at its disposal, including the robot Emma, whom Vucic asked why she came to Serbia, to which she replied that she "loves Serbia".
