Kosovo citizens to elect assembly members from 31 lists
PRISTINA – A total of 31 electoral lists have been submitted to Kosovo’s central electoral commission ahead of the June 8 elections for the provincial assembly.
New protest by Kosovo Serbs because of election law
GRACANICA - Employees from all ten municipalities in Kosovo that have a Serb majority population stopped their work for 15 minutes on Thursday because of the announced adoption of amendments to the general election law by the Kosovo parliament, Radio Gracanica has reported.

GRACANICA - Vladeta Kostic, leader of the Citizens' Initiative Srpska, urged on Friday all Serb MPs in the Kosovo parliament, as well as the MPs representing other minorities, to walk out of the parliament because of the announced amendments to the election law.

Rikalo: New election law will reduce rights of Serbs
FRANKFURT - If the Kosovo parliament passes a bill of amendments to the Law on General Elections on Thursday, Serbs' rights will be reduced, warned Nenad Rikalo, the only Serb member of the Kosovo central election commission.
The rights of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) would be reduced in at least four aspects, Rikalo said in a statement to the Frankfurt-based daily Vesti.
CEC confirms Rakic's victory in northern Mitrovica elections
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The Kosovo Central Electoral Commission (CEC) confirmed that leader of the Citizens' Initiative Srpska Goran Rakic won in the elections for northern Mitrovica mayor.
According to the final results of the elections, Rakic won 2,778 votes which is 52.48 percent of the total turnout, stated Nenad Rikalo late on Wednesday as the only Serb member of CEC.

Mayoral election campaign to last only 5 days
PRISTINA - The campaign for the mayoral election in northern Kosovska Mitrovica will begin on February 17 and last only 5 days, the Central Election Commission of Kosovo has decided.
The commission adopted on Wednesday a list of voters in northern Kosovska Mitrovica that now has 28,429 names, member of the commission Nenad Rikalo stated.
