Nikolaos Maziotis

Turkey’s Official Gazette – the country’s ledger of legislative announcements – announced the seizure of the assets in Turkey of Greek-born Christodoulos Xiros and Nikolaos Maziotis for their involvement in terrorist activities in Greece. The seizure is in accordance with the United Nations Security Council decision no. 1373.

Tensions between Greece and the US grew Tuesday after Washington placed two convicted Greek guerrillas on a terrorism blacklist amid concerns that a third could soon be transferred from prison to house arrest under the conditions of a new prison law.
