Representatives of the Bulgarian right-wing "Greantess" (Velichie) party, including Nikolay Markov, Victoria Vasileva, Darin Georgiev, and Georgi Kukov, attended consultations with President Rumen Radev as part of the ongoing discussions preceding the assignment of the exploratory mandate for forming a new government.

Today marks the second day of the inaugural session of the 50th National Assembly, after failing to elect a speaker yesterday. Raya Nazaryan's candidacy garnered support from GERB, DPS, and Hristo Prodanov of BSP, totaling 116 votes initially. However, Prodanov voted "against" in the second round.

Nikolay Markov, leader of the right-wing "Greatness" (Velichie) party was escorted out of the plenary hall by the quaestors after arriving about 20 minutes late and missing the oath-taking ceremony for the opening of the 50th National Assembly. OFFNews reported that Markov attributed his tardiness to family problems.

The "Greatness" (Velichie) party, led by Nikolay Markov, has declined an invitation from GERB for cabinet negotiations, insisting instead on a meeting directly with their leader, Boyko Borissov. Denitsa Sacheva, a member of GERB's negotiating team, confirmed that the scheduled meeting at 3 p.m.

The Bulgarian pro-Russian party "Revival" (Vazrazhdane) has declared its intention to oppose another Euro-Atlantic government, as announced by its deputy chairman Tsoncho Ganev.

The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) has declined GERB's invitation to participate in government formation talks for the first mandate, as reported by BNT.

Today, GERB has extended invitations to meetings with BSP, "There Is Such a People" (TISP), and "Greatness" (Velichie). Currently, only TISP has confirmed their attendance.

"Greatness" (Velichie/Величие in Bulgarian) garnered 99,852 votes in the Bulgarian parliamentary elections on June 9, surprising many politicians, sociologists, and journalists. Known figures like "Colonel Markov" and Ivelin Mihailov played key roles.

The newly formed "Greatness" (Velichie) party emerged as the surprise success in Bulgaria's 2-in-1 vote, surpassing the 4 percent threshold to enter the National Assembly. Led by former National Security officer Nikolay Markov and founded by Ivelin Mihailov, the party's representatives discussed their election results and future parliamentary strategy on Nova TV.
