Police have linked fugitive Revolutionary Struggle mastermind Nikos Maziotis to six armed robberies that are believed to have netted him and his accomplices around 15 million euros in cash, Kathimerini has learned.

Citing the results of forensic tests, police indicated on Tuesday that Nikos Maziotis, the self-professed leader of the guerrilla group Revolutionary Struggle who has been at large since July 2012, took part in a violent robbery last month in Achaia, in the Peloponnese.

Revolutionary Struggle, an urban guerrilla group that emerged over a decade ago, on Friday claimed its first attack in more than four years as a proclamation posted on the Indymedia website said that the organization planted the large car bomb that exploded outside the Bank of Greece on April 10.
