Erdoğan hails 'Century of Türkiye' as republic marks 101 years

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Tuesday that only "a few obstacles" remain before reaching the "bright future we call the Century of Türkiye," as the nation celebrated its Republic's 101st anniversary.

Erdoğan led a delegation of state officials to Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of modern Türkiye, for the Oct. 29th Republic Day celebrations.

Erdoğan receives Hungarian parliament speaker in Ankara

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Thursday hosted Hungarian parliament Speaker Laszlo Kover for a meeting at the presidential complex in the capital Ankara, according to Türkiye's Communications Directorate.

Parliament speaker decries 'AI-assisted genocide' in Gaza

Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş delivered an address at the 149th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva on Monday, expressing deep concern over what he termed an "artificial intelligence-assisted genocide" in Gaza.

"We are dismayed by the ongoing artificial intelligence-assisted genocide in Gaza," Kurtulmuş stated.
