Dollarization risk for Turkish economy easing: Deputy PM

The dollarization risk for the Turkish economy has eased as the recent fluctuation in global capital markets is about to end, Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Canikli said on Dec. 30. 

The Turkish Lira became one of the world's worst performing emerging currencies after Donald Trump won the U.S. presidential election in November. 

All companies under trustee control for 'terror links' to be transferred to Turkey's state fund

Turkey has recently dismissed 27,715 teachers and suspended 9,465, Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Canikli stated late on Sept. 19, adding that the decisions were made over teachers' suspected links to either the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) or the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ).
