A fire erupted at the Feodosia oil depot in occupied Crimea following a drone strike, according to the Astra Telegram channel. In response to the incident, local authorities declared a municipal-level state of emergency due to the man-made disaster.

Russia thwarted an attack by 20 Ukrainian drones targeting Moscow-annexed Crimea overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry said Saturday.

Air defenses repelled an attack by drones near the town of Dzhankoy in Crimea on Monday evening, the Russian Investigative Committee, the body in charge of the most important investigations, said. "The target of all the downed drones was civilian infrastructure," the committee added.

Russian and Ukrainian officials on Tuesday gave conflicting accounts of what appeared to be a brazen attack late Monday on Russian cruise missiles being transported by train in the occupied Ukrainian Crimean Peninsula.

Russian authorities reported shooting down Ukrainian drones Saturday in Crimea, while Ukrainian officials said Russian forces pressed ahead with efforts to seize one of the few cities in eastern Ukraine not already under their control. The Russian military also kept up its strikes in Ukraine's north and south.
