The first edition of Turkish Nobel laureate Orhan Pamuk’s most popular novel in the U.S., "Kar" (Snow), was purchased for $13,000 at an auction held by Christie’s in New York on Dec. 2. The auction was organized to benefit the PEN American Center in New York.

Koç University’s Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations is hosting a new exhibition in which everyday objects, inspired by Nobel laureate Orhan Pamuk’s Museum of Innocence, are plucked from the intimate space of the museum and put back in Istanbul’s public space “The handkerchief in box 9 is Füsun’s white childhood handkerchief with embroidery on the corner.” Füsun,
