BELGRADE - Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic met with Kfor Commander Maj Gen Ozkan Ulutas in Belgrade on Wednesday.

This was a regular high-level meeting during which they reviewed the security situation in Kosovo-Metohija and the cooperation between the SAF and Kfor on the joint task of creating a safe and secure environment in the province.

BELGRADE - Kfor Commander Maj Gen Ozkan Ulutas said on Friday the situation in Kosovo-Metohija was calm overall but remained "fragile following a rise of tensions in the past months."

PRISTINA - Kfor Commander Ozkan Ulutas said on Friday that, following an escalation of tensions in recent months, the security situation in Kosovo-Metohija had improved and that NATO had promptly responded to recent violence by deploying 1,000 more troops and additional armoured vehicles.
