Nick Kyrgios dethrones Daniil Medvedev!
In an electric four-set match, Nick Kyrgios proved too much for 2021 US Open champion and No. 1 seed Daniil Medvedev, advancing to his first US Open quarterfinals, 7-6(11), 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
It was the Australian's fourth win in five career encounters with Medvedev, and his second straight after a 6-7(2), 6-4, 6-2 second-round match last month in Montreal.

Wimbledon starts: Five Serbs on court today
The competition at Wimbledon starts on Monday, and the matches of the first round, among others, will be played by five Serbian tennis players, including the defending champion Novak Djokovic.
Three-time Wimbledon winner Djokovic is playing against Soonwoo Kwon from South Korea in the first round.

In the grand finale at the Ken Rosewall Arena, our team beat the Davis Cup champions Spain 2-1.
Serbia had won over South Africa (3-0), France (2-1) and Chile (2-1) on their way to the group stage finals in Brisbane, beat Canada (3-0) in the quarterfinals in Sydney, finally in the semifinals Russia, also 3-0.

Romanian-Dutch pair Horia Tecau/Jean-Julien Rojer, seed no 5, on Friday qualified for the 3rd round of the doubles event of the Wimbledon tennis tournament, the third Grand Slam of the year, after defeating French pair Hugo Nys/Fabrice Martin, 6-1, 6-4, 6-4. Tecau and Rojer won a cheque worth 32,000 pound sterling and 180 ATP points.
Grigor Dimitrov Received a "Wild Card" for the Barcelona Tournament
Grigor Dimitrov has changed his plans and will join the ATP 500 category in Barcelona. The Bulgarian tennis player did not apply to participate but received a "wild card" from the organizers.
He initially planned to play in four red courts in 2019. The first of these is the Monte Carlo Masters, where he trains and lives most of the time. The race in the principality began on Monday.
