Italian prankster strikes again, 'kills' former president

Italian prankster Tommaso De Benedetti struck again on Wednesday, falsely announcing the death of former Greek president Karolos Papoulias on Twitter using a fake account he created under the name of Deputy Prime Minister Panagiotis Pikrammenos.
"Karolos Papoulias, the former President of Greece, has died few minutes ago at 90," the tweet read.

Staikouras finance minister, Dendias foreign minister in Mitsotakis government

Christos Staikouras, a former alternate economy minister under ND PM Antonis Samaras, will be Greece's new finance minister in the cabinet of incoming PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis, which was announced late this afternoon, less than 24 hours afte Mitsotakis' landslide victory, and veteran connservative MP Nilos Dendias will be Greece's new foreign minister.

Mitsotakis appoints his cabinet

New center-right Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis appointed his cabinet on Monday afternoon, entrusting most of the key posts to trusted aides. 

Panagiotis Pikrammenos, formerly the president of the Council of State who briefly served as caretaker prime minister at the peak of Greece's economic crisis in 2012, was appointed deputy prime minister.
