President Klaus Iohannis on Friday morning sent condolences to the family of the Romanian who died in the Hanau attacks, in Germany. "With deep sadness I found out about the violent attacks in Hanau, Germany, where including a Romanian citizen lost his life. I send condolences to the grieving family facing such difficult times," said Iohannis on Twitter.
Romanian national dies in Hanau attacks
A Romanian citizen has died in the recent attacks in Hanau, Germany, according to the Romanian Foreign Ministry (MAE). The repatriation will be provided under the emergency fund, by order of acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Bogdan Aurescu, MAE reported on Thursday night.

German police arrest man for plotting terror attack
German police have arrested a 36-year-old Tunisian man suspected of trying to recruit people for ISIS. More than 1,100 German police searched 54 homes, business premises and mosques in Frankfurt and other towns in the western state of Hesse in the early hours of Wednesday arresting the Tunisian man suspected of planning an attack, German authorities said.
