Amnesty says Iran killed two dozen children in November crackdown
Human rights group Amnesty International on March 4 accused the Iranian security forces of killing 23 children, mostly with live ammunition, during a November crackdown on anti-government protests.
Egypt freezes assets of anti-torture NGO
Egyptian authorities have frozen the assets of a prominent human rights group that works with torture victims, the head of the organization said on Nov. 10.
The move came months after authorities tried on two separate occasions to shut down the El Nadeem Centre for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Torture and Violence.

Sister of jailed Saudi blogger imprisoned: NGO
