Aspendos Festival preparations begin
The General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet has started preparations for the 31st International Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival, scheduled to take place in the southern province of Antalya from Sept. 13 to 26.
The works to be staged in the festival, which has been held for 30 years at the historical Aspendos Theater in Serik district, have been launched.

Sleeping Beauty | Thessaloniki | April 7
The Polish National Ballet is bringing its production of "Sleeping Beauty," with music by by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Marius Petipa's mesmerizing choreography, to the Thessaloniki Concert Hall (tch.gr) on April 7. This timeless masterpiece is directed by Nina Abramanko, a former Bolshoi dancer, and features the company's principal dancer Chinara Alizade, among others.

Ljubljana’s opera and ballet announces diverse 2021/2022 season
Ljubljana – The SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana, a leading national opera and ballet theatre, has produced a diverse 2021/2022 season headlined Long Live Opera and Ballet, the opera’s artistic director Marko Hribernik says. It brings music by Russian greats Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky, Italian composers Donizetti and Bellini and France’s Gounod.
More Than 3,000 People Have Visited Opera of the Peaks This Year
The performances from the Opera of the Peaks festival this year were watched by over 3,000 spectators, despite the necessary restrictions on seats due to security measures. This was announced by the organizers of the Sofia Opera.
The sixth edition of the festival took place at Belogradchik Rocks from 6 to 15 August.

‘Swan Lake’ ballet to fascinate audience in capital
The Ankara State Opera and Ballet (ADOB) will greet art lovers with the "Swan Lake" ballet, which was composed by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875 and staged for the first time at the Bolshoi Stage in 1877.
