Tourism revenue to increase by USD 300 million in 2015

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic said Saturday that the ministry plans to increase tourism revenue from USD 1 billion reported this year to USD 1.3 billion in 2015, as well as to increase the number of employees in the sector from 70,000 to 100,000 and the number of ovenight stays from the present 6.6 to 10 million.

No ban on Serbian meat exports to Russia

BELGRADE - There is no ban on Serbian pork meat exports to Russia, Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic said on Friday.

He denied media reports that another shipment of Serbian meat has been returned from Russia, adding that the next ten shipments from the Koteks company will be under particular scrutiny.

Ljajic: Government to comment on Seselj by Wednesday

BELGRADE - Rasim Ljajic, president of the Council for Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), stated on Thursday that the Serbian government will comment on the ICTY order regarding the provisional release of Vojislav Seselj by Wednesday, adding that the Tribunal has created a problem and is now searching for a way to export it to Serbia.
