Ankara urges EU to take principled stand against terror

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Feb. 12 called on the EU and other European countries to take a "principled and honorable" stand against terrorism.

Erdoğan spoke at a meeting in Turkey's southeastern province of Kahramanmaras where he said no treacherous activities against Turkey would succeed either on the field or at the table.

Turkey to demand red notice on PYD leader Muslim 

Turkey is set to demand a red notice for Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) co-head Salih Muslim, CNN Türk has reported, a day after an arrest warrant was issued for him over a February bomb attack in Ankara.

The Justice Ministry is preparing to apply to the Interpol General Secretary for the red notice on Muslim.

An Ankara court issued an arrest warrant on Nov. 22 for Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) co-head Salih Muslim as well as senior outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants over a bomb attack targeting military shuttles in Ankara in February, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

HDP leader on surprise trip to Brussels, may see PKK seniors

The co-chair of Turkey's Kurdish issue-focused Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) is set to make an unscheduled trip to Brussels on Aug. 5, his party said, amid reports he will meet representatives of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
