Medieval Sword Discovered in Stone Enchants Bosnians
A medieval hand-and-a-half-long sword rammed into stone, discovered this summer at the bottom of the river Vrbas in Bosnia, has been hailed by experts as a significant archaeological find.
As the sword was literally plunged into stone, it has been necessary to slowly separate the stone from the sword under water, as the sword had to be recovered together with a part of the rock.

Vladimir Kovacevic, a journalist at BN TV, one of the main media in Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity, Republika Srpska, was attacked on Sunday in front of his home in Banja Luka, the administrative centre of the entity, BN TV reported.
"I passed by them [the assailants] without expecting anything to happen to me. Suddenly they attacked me," Kovacevic told BN TV, describing the attack.
Emigration Damages Bosnia's Economic Growth Prospects
The Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity Republika Srpska told BIRN that emigration was hitting economic development, after an International Monetary Fund report cut its growth forecast for 2018 due to the number of people leaving the country.
"We miss workers of all profiles and it is slowly becoming an obstacle to development," the Chamber of Commerce said.
