With a speech at the Future Summit, meetings with Jewish organizations and Arab leaders, the first day of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis‘s program begins in New York.

The Prime Minister will address the plenary session of the Future Summit between 13.00-13.30 (New York time – 22:00-22:30 Greece time) in the United Nations General Assembly Hall.

The United States' behind-the-scenes efforts have influenced Austria's change of heart regarding Bulgaria and Romania's Schengen entry, according to reports by the Austrian newspaper Der Standard. Recent discussions led by former US Ambassador Ronald Lauder and US Assistant Secretary of State James O'Brien in Vienna played a pivotal role in convincing Austria to lift its veto.

ROME - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic and World Jewish Congress President Ronald Lauder on Tuesday expressed concern over frequent manifestations of anti-Semitism around the world and Europe in particular, noting that attempts of rewriting history were impermissible.

Dacic and Lauder met in Rome on the fringes of an OSCE conference on the fight against anti-Semitism.
