Jordan weighed its next move Feb. 5 against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) after vowing a harsh response to the burning alive of a fighter pilot, whose family called for the jihadists to be "destroyed".
      

The Jordanian government executed two Iraqi jihadists early on Feb. 4, hours after the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) burned alive Muath al-Kasaesbeh, a Jordanian Air Force pilot who was captured in Syria in December 2014 after his F-16 crashed.

Jordan executes prisoners after pilot is "burned alive"

Two prisoners from Iraq have been executed by Jordan in response to the killing of a Jordanian pilot captured by the Islamic state.

According to reports based on a video released by the extremists, the pilot, Moaz al-Kasasbeh, was put in a cage and burned alive.
