There will be an admission-free screening of Terrence Malick's romantic drama "Days of Heaven," hailed as an ode to America at the turn of the 20th century, at the Great Lawn of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center on Friday, September 1, starting at 8.30 p.m.

Sónar, an international festival of electronic music that has been celebrated in cities around the world for the past 23 years, will meet audiences in Turkey for the first time later this month. 

Renowned theatrologist Jovan Ćirilov passes away

BELGRADE -- Serbian theatrologist Jovan Ćirilov died aged 84 in Belgrade on Sunday, the Yugoslav Drama Theater (JDP) said in a statement.

Ćirilov was art director and selector of the Bitef theater festival since its establishment in 1967 and long-term director of the JDP.
