Turkey has a passionate audience despite its short history of classical music when compared with that of Europe, Sascha Goetzel, the artistic director and principal conductor of Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BIPO), has said.
Borusan Orchestra to open season in October
The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BIPO), the flagship of Borusan Sanat and the resident orchestra of the International Istanbul Music Festival since 2003, will welcome the 2016-2017 season with Borusan Music House concerts.

Borusan Philharmonic in Austria and Germany
The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BIPO) is set to go on tour to two of the most important countries in the history of classic music, Austria and Germany.
The tour will begin in Vienna and continue to Germany's Friedrichshafen and Frankfurt before ending in Nurnberg.

Children to sing for peace in Istanbul
The Music for Peace Foundation, which aims at providing musical education for as many children as possible and removing handicaps from participating in the arts, will celebrate its decennial this year. The foundation, which has so far changed the lives of nearly 5,000 children with the power of music, will celebrate its anniversary with a special concert on Nov. 15 at Zorlu PSM.
