Turkey's foreign minister responded on Oct. 30 to accusations against the country about Ukraine's use of drones in the conflict-ridden eastern Donbas region.

Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said drones used by Ukraine may have been produced in Turkey but are used by Ukraine, thus Turkey cannot be blamed.

Russia hosted talks on Afghanistan on Oct. 20 involving senior representatives of the Taliban and neighboring nations, a round of diplomacy that underlined Moscow's clout in Central Asia.

New York – President Borut Pahor met UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in New Yorl on Friday after he addressed the 76th session of the UN General Assembly stressing the need for dialogue.

New York – President Borut Pahor has held a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. He emphasises the importance of dialogue, including with those one does not agree with, which will also be one of the points of his address to the General Assembly on Friday.

New York, 22 September – President Borut Pahor, who is in New York for the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, held several bilateral meetings on Tuesday, including with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss cooperation, Afghanistan and migrations. He also attended an event marking 30 years of Slovenia’s independence.

The UN General Assembly High-Level week - a general political discussion with the participation of heads of states, governments and ministries - kicked off in the UN headquarters in New York on Tuesday.

New York – A Slovenian delegation led by President Borut Pahor, who will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Anže Logar, will attend the United Nations General Assembly this week. The high-level general debate starts on Tuesday an Pahor will deliver his address on Friday.
