Abe ceremonially welcomed in Belgrade, meetings begin
BELGRADE - Japanese PM Shinzo Abe was ceremonially welcomed outside the Palace of Serbia and greeted by President Aleksandar Vucic after arriving in Belgrade on Monday for a two-day official visit to Serbia.
Official discussions between the two delegations are under way and meetings with businesspeople will follow later in the afternoon.
Vucic, Brnabic to host dinner for Abe
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and PM Ana Brnabic will host a dinner for Japanese PM Shinzo Abe late Monday, a source close to the Serbian government has told Tanjug.
Abe, who will arrive in Belgrade for a two-day official visit to Serbia, will be accompanied by a Japanese business delegation.

Serbia's economy is stable, Japanese businesspeople told
Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said this on Monday during a meeting of Serbian and Japanese business delegations, held in Belgrade.
Brnabic highlighted the importance of the visit of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Belgrade, assessing that the bilateral and political relations of the two countries are on the rise.
Japanese PM Makes First Visit To Belgrade Since 1987
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has made the first visit by a Japanese leader to Belgrade since the breakup of Yugoslavia.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic welcomed Abe, who was accompanied by a delegation of Japanese business leaders, at a ceremonial reception on January 15.
Abe is also scheduled to meet with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and other officials.
Abe's visit signal to Japanese companies - ambassador
BELGRADE - Japanese PM Shinzo Abe's upcoming visit to Serbia is a result of an upward trend in bilateral relations between the two countries and a major signal to Japanese companies to continue to invest in Serbia, Serbian Ambassador to Japan Nenad Glisic said.
Abe will arrive in Belgrade on Monday afternoon, Glisic told the RTS.
