STARA PAZOVA - Red Star Belgrade legend Dragan Dzajic was unanimously elected new Football Association of Serbia (FSS) president on Tuesday.

At an FSS Assembly meeting in Stara Pazova near Belgrade, Dzajic was the sole candidate for the post after former Serbia international Nemanja Vidic withdrew his candidacy on Monday.

BELGRADE - The location of a future national football stadium could become known by end-May, Football Association of Serbia President Slavisa Kokeza announced Tuesday.

STARA PAZOVA - Serbia needs much better sports infrastructure, UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin said Friday, noting Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic had told him the government would assist the construction of a new national football stadium and help improve infrastructure conditions.

"The FSS (Serbian Football Association) was among the first to back his candidacy, recognizing his energy and potential for performing such a responsible duty," he added.

STARA PAZOVA - President of the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) Slavisa Kokeza said Sunday that the FSS would send a letter to the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) regarding the decision by European football's governing body to allow Kosovo football clubs to compete in European competitions.

At an Electoral Assembly meeting at the FSS headquarters in Stara Pazova, near Belgrade, Kokeza was backed by all 77 delegates, replacing Tomislav Karadzic, who had served as president for eight years.

Former Football Association of Serbia (FSS) Vice President Slavisa Kokeza was on Friday unanimously elected the president of the organization.
