Serbia won't restore property to descendants of occupiers
Strahinja Sekulic, who heads the Restitution Agency, has told this to Prva TV.
The Ustasha regime was in power in the Nazi-allied Independent State of Croatia (NDH), while the SS division in question was formed by ethnic Germans from in northern Serbia, and elsewhere in the region.
Davenport: Major progress in implementing restitution law
BELGRADE - The head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport says that the country has made major progress in implementing the law on restitution, whereby property seized by the state after World War II is returned to owners or heirs.
