Fee for illegal crossings on first, second bridges increases five-fold
The General Directorate of Highways has announced they will increase the fines assessed to heavy vehicles crossing the Fatih Sultan Mehmet (FSM) Bridge on Istanbul's Bosporus from 92 to 500 Turkish Liras.
The crossings currently cost less than what the drivers are supposed to pay if they take the newly opened third bridge.

Rocket projectile fired from Syria hits Turkey's Kilis, no casualties reported
A rocket projectile fired from Syria hit an empty field in the southeastern province of Kilis on April 22, as the border province continues to be the target of attacks originating from Syria.
One Katyusha projectile landed at an empty field in Kilis' Yavuz Sultan Selim neighborhood at around 2:35 p.m. on April 22. No casualties were reported in the incident.
Trespassers shoot vertigo-inducing footage from top of mall in Istanbul
Two men who recently made headlines after shooting footage from atop the under-construction third bridge over Istanbul's Bosphorus, have now climbed to the top of the Akasya shopping mall and taken selfies.
