The Bulgarian Who Kicked a Woman in Berlin Subway Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison
The Bulgarian who kicked a woman down a flight of stairs at an underground station in Berlin in October 2016, was sentenced to 35 months of imprisonment by a German court, DPA reported on 6 July, quoted by BNT.
The incident was recorded from Hermannstrasse CCTV cameras. The attacker was identified and soon arrested. The incident caused a storm of outrage in Germany.
Attacker in Berlin Metro Arrested in Germany
Police in Germany has detained the attacker in the Berlin metro - 27-year old Svetoslav Stoykov.
He was arrested at his arrival at the central bus station in Berlin.
Stoykov was detained while still on the bus, announced the police.
At present, Stoykov is being interrogated. It is expected that he will be indicted tomorrow.

European Arrest Warrant Issued for Attacker in Berlin's Metro
An official European warrant has been issued for the arrest of 26-year old Svetoslav Stoykov. Bulgaria's Interior Ministry continues to look for him because of the incident in the metro in Berlin which caused outrage in Germany.
