Aris inflicted Olympiakos' first loss this season, and AEK dropped points at Kallithea, allowing PAOK to go alone on top of the Super League table.

Aris showed it will fight for a place in the top four (that will contest the title playoffs), as on Saturday it defeated Europa Conference League holder Olympiakos 2-1 in Thessaloniki.

PAOK has won the fourth championship in its history after beating Aris 2-1 away on Sunday and edged out holder AEK by two points, in the most dramatic finale in the history of the Super League.

AEK lost at Olympiakos on Wednesday, allowing PAOK to go top of the Super League table with its win over Panathinaikos, with one round of games left to play.

PAOK is now the favorite to win the title, as it just needs victory in the league's final game on Sunday at crosstown rival Aris.

Super League leaders scored plenty of goals on Sunday in their comfortable wins that left the situation unchanged at the top of the table.
