Terrence Malick

Acclaimed composer Eleni Karaindrou, whose soaring melodies have graced the silver screen for some three decades and who has performed at prestigious events and venues around the world, did a single show last year at the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center just before the November lockdown.

There will be an admission-free screening of Terrence Malick's romantic drama "Days of Heaven," hailed as an ode to America at the turn of the 20th century, at the Great Lawn of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center on Friday, September 1, starting at 8.30 p.m.

New movies starring Juliette Binoche, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Helen Mirren and Lea Seydoux will put women in the spotlight when they premiere at the 65th Berlin film festival starting on Jan. 5.
