ND MP Roussopoulos elected PACE president
New Democracy MP Theodoros Roussopoulos has been elected as the president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
Roussopoulos is the 35th PACE president since 1949 and the first Greek national to hold this office. Presidents serve a one-year term, which may be renewed once.

Ex gov't spokesman Roussopoulos to attend ND anniversary event
Theodoros Roussopoulos, formerly government spokesman under one-time conservative premier Costas Karamanlis, is to attend celebrations marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of New Democracy on Saturday.
The function is to take place at the Onassis Foundation's House of Arts and Letters on Syngrou Avenue, not far from ND's headquarters.
